VCU graduate students pursuing their Masters in Urban and Regional Planning spent months studying Thompson Street (from Cary to Broad) and its adjoining properties. With guidance from faculty, City planning staff, and MDA board members, they have developed a plan with improved bike and pedestrian access, a reconfiguration of public spaces, gateway enhancements and new public amenities.
